JMC Councillor starts tiles work

JAMMU, June 11: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor, Parmodh Kapahi kick started tiles work at Bhagwati Nagar’s Shamshan Ghat in Ward-19 with the estimate cost of Rs two lakhs, here today.
The Councillor while addressing the media persons appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with the JMC in various development works undertaken by the department within the Jammu city.
He urged upon the residents to avoid using single used plastics, polythene in their routine work and don’t throw debris, garbage filth etc in the public drains. He also appealed the public to segregate the dry and wet garbage at their level, so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and beautiful city.
Kumar Kant, president Shamshan Ghat Committee, Ashwani Kumar, Ravinder Salaria and other prominent were also present during the event.
