JAMMU, Sept 4: Senior BJP leader and JMC Councilor of Ward number 41, Sanjay Baru today visited various areas of his Ward including Shanti Vihar, Green Enclave, Friends Lane, Wazir Lane etc and listened problems of the people there.
AEE and JE of Electricity Department and BJP leader, Indrajit Sharma also accompanied Baru.
Speaking on the occasion he said that work of installation and creation of new distribution substation, LT cabling & HT restringing with new conductors has already been allotted and the same will be started within a month.
“Due to non replacement of electrical wiring and shortage of transformers, a lot of voltage problems were being faced by the people of Palora Bazar, Shanti Vihar, Friends Lane, Green Enclave, Anand Nagar, Surya Vihar and Patta Chungi for the last several years,” he said and assured that both the feeders will have new wires and a tender of six new 250 KV transformers has also been floated and soon after the installation of these transformers the issue of electricity supply will be addressed.
Indrajit Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
Rajesh Thakur, Avinash Shukla, Vijay Kumar Gupta, Bansi Lal Gupta, Om Prakash, Kamal Sharma, Ripudaman Vaid, Kanav Padha and others also accompanied Baru.
