JAMMU, Dec 15: On the directions of Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation, Ramesh Kumar and continuing the drive against illegal and unauthorized constructions, the enforcement staff of JMC removed unauthorized construction in different parts of Jammu city.
During the drive, the ongoing construction of seven numbers of shops which were being raised unauthorisedly without seeking permission from JMC, were demolished on spot at Preet Nagar Digiana Jammu by pressing enforcement staff and labourers into service.
The JMC has once again appealed to the general public to refrain from raising unauthorized constructions failing which the demolition/sealing of the structure will take place. The JMC has also appealed people not to dump the building material on road/lane side which causes obstruction to the public and also hindrance in the smooth flow of vehicular traffic.
