JAMMU, Apr 12: Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Mandeep Kaur has framed guidelines for installation of telecommunication towers within municipal limits with reference to the advisory guidelines issued to the State Governments by the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India.
These guidelines will be effective from April 10, 2016 and are also available on the official website of JMC—jmcjammu.org.
This is information to all the telecom operators that before applying for permission from JMC first they should read the guidelines as these guidelines are beneficial for them and will be followed by all the telecom operators while applying for permission for installation of telecommunication towers.
