JAMMU, Oct 26: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today lifted five samples of milk products and sweet items from various food establishments and sent to Food Analyst, Public Health Laboratory for ascertaining their standard of purity.
The JMC team led by Food Safety officers and Municipal Veterinary Officer, alongwith other field staff under the supervision of Dr Vinod Sharma Health Officer inspected the various food establishments including sweetshops, milk shops, milk vendors, restaurants, dhabas, tea stalls, halwai shops and fruit juice corners located in the area of Gandhi Nagar, Digiana, Talab Tillo, Bohri, Anand Nagar, Barnai and Bantalab of Jammu city.
About 1300 litre of milk was checked by the team.
