JAMMU, Sept 13: All India Council (AIC) of Mayors, in a meeting at Agra, has unanimously elected Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta as its Cashier.
Speaking in the meeting Naveen Jain, Council President hailed the working of Gupta as Mayor of JMC and hoped that he will contribute his sincere efforts in taking the Council to new heights with prosperity. Mayors of different Municipal Corporations of the country attended the meeting and pledged to work honestly and with full dedication for the welfare of general masses and in making all the Municipal Corporations of India neat, clean and green under Swacch Bharat Mission.
They also resolved to make entire society polythene free as appealed by the Prime Minister Modi to all the citizens of the country.
