JAMMU, July 27: Jammu Municipal Corporation Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta along with Councillor, Dr Akshay Sharma visited Ward Number 8 and New Rehari Colony and inaugurated Open Gym at Rana Rajinder Singh Municipal Park, New Rehari Colony, here today.
Dr Surjeet Singh, Vipan Verma, Raman Sharma, Ajay Singh, Rajesh Gupta, Naveen Sharma, Punit Chawla and field staff of JMC were also present during the events.
Mayor told that the JMC has already taken up the job of commissioning ‘Open Gyms’ and installing requisite number of equipments related to these gyms, so that the general public could take full benefits of these, in an eco-friendly atmosphere. “These equipments have been installed at the cost of Rs 2 lacs and JMC is committed to allot equal amount in each ward for purchasing equipments of the Open Gym,” Mayor said.
He also appreciated the efforts of local Councillor and Residents Welfare Association of New Rehari Mohalla who have done excellent job for maintaining the proper sanitation of Rana Rajinder Singh Park.
