JAMMU, Sept 14: Jammu Municipal corporation today ordered that levying of penalties for mixing of garden waste with solid waste and throwing of garden waste outside the houses or vacant plots.
As per the order in this regard, mixing of garden waste with Municipal solid waste or throwing garden waster in open will invite Rs 500 fine for first time, Rs 1000 for second time and Rs 5000 for subsequent offence.
The JMC has also activated portal and online booking for collection of the garden waste besides once again notifying auto charges for lifting the waste.
