JAMMU, Feb 23: Civic Safai Karamchari Union of Jammu Municipal Corporation has reiterated its warning of resorting to Kaam Choro strike from February 25 to February 28 if its demands are not conceded.
The Union has resolved to hold regular protests in front of the JMC office from 11 am to 3 pm during these four days.
The decision for going to strike was taken during a meeting of the Union, held earlier, under the chairmanship of Dev Anand Gill.
The Union is demanding DPC of cadre, two and half day salary to JMC field staff, creation of 49 posts of Safai Karamcharis, enhancement of wages of casual labourers, re-organisation of JMC and issuance of shoes and masks to them.
