JAMMU, Nov 23: Jammu Municipal Corporation today sealed three shops at Gali Mangotrian, Jain Bazar Jammu, which were being constructed illegally.
On the instructions of JMC Commissioner and under the supervision of Joint Commissioner (Administration), the Enforcement staff sealed three shops being constructed by Rajesh Nischal, son of Brij Mohan Nischal at Gali Mangotarian, Jain Bazar, Jammu under Section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988.
The said structures were being raised without the permission of JMC and had been causing nuisance, traffic hazard in the vicinity and much inconvenience to the general public residing in the area who had agitated and complained against the same.
The JMC has once again appealed to the general public to refrain from making illegal constructions and get building plans whether commercial / residential approved otherwise action as admissible under rules leading to demolition / sealing of the building will be taken.
