JAMMU, Oct 23: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) in its continuous drive against encroachment today sealed two buildings, which were constructed in violation of building norms.
The enforcement team of JMC led by Chief Enforcement Officer sealed the buildings of Sanjay Gupta and Jai Singh Wazir at Marble Market. The team also sealed the building of Bhagwan Dass at Main Road, Bye Pass Kunjwani.
The team also removed the iron rods erected at 3rd floor building of Neelam Gupta at Bye Pass Road Narwal and also demolished the stairs constructed illegally by Jaffar Ahmed at Sidhra.
The team also surveyed the buildings in Channi Himmat, Transport Nagar and surrounding areas. They cautioned the people to observe building bye-laws and undertake construction as per the sanctioned building plan.
The team also appealed the people to adhere to the building permission norms and not to encroach any public land, otherwise strict action will be taken against the offenders.
