JAMMU, Nov 7: On the instructions of Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and under the supervision of Joint Commissioner (Administration), the enforcement staff of JMC sealed unauthorized structure.
A handout of JMC stated that the structure was being raised by Nitasha Kohli W/o Dewakar Kohli in Channi Kamala and it was sealed under section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act 1988 as it was constructed unauthorizedly without JMC permission and causing much inconvenience to the general public of the area which has complained against the same.
The JMC has appealed to the general public to refrain from making illegal constructions and get building plans, commercial or residential, approved from JMC otherwise action as admissible under rules leading to demolition/sealing of the building will be taken.
