JMI distributes baby kits, sanitary napkins among patients

JAMMU, July 1: Jammu Mahavir International (JMI), a Non-Government Organization (NGO) today distributed 75 baby kits and 100 sanitary napkins among the patients at Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar (Jammu).
These health and hygiene products were distributed by the NGO under the project ‘Vatsala’ as the Organization approaches its golden jubilee. Under this project, the NGO care for the new born babies and educate mothers on health and hygiene.
With the support of the doctors of the Hospital, the NGO members made the mothers admitted in the Hospital aware of the benefits of breast feeding. Dr Amandeep Kour (Gynaecologist) briefed the patients how to live happy and healthy life by maintaining hygiene.
