JMWM concern over delay in payment of relief

JAMMU, Apr 10: Jagti Migrant Welfare Movement (JMWM) has expressed serious concern over delay in release of monthly cash relief to migrants and demanded that the same be immediately released.
In a statement Chairman of the organisation, Sunil Pandita criticised the relief organisation for adopting delaying tactic in releasing the cash relief with the result the people dependent on cash doles from Government face many difficulties in passing the day today life.
He said families dependent on relief are not able to pay the school dues of their children or pay their bus fares. He made an appeal to relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner to issue directives to concerned zonal officers to release the cash assistance to relief holders without further delay.
