RKPAC warns encroachers

JAMMU, July 31: The Core Group of Rainawari Kashmiri Pandit Action Committee (RKPAC) was constituted to visit Rainawari and prepare a factual report of the temples. This group included BL Jalali, Benenrji Hak, Rakesh Hangloo and Dr.Mahesh Kaul.
The decision to send the Core Group to Sringar was taken in the recent meeting of RKPAC led by B L Jallai.
It visited Rainawari to take stock of the Rainawari temples and properties that included the ancient Gopi Tirath temple and its Holy Spring at Brein,Nishat, Srinagar.
It also submitted memorandum to concerned authorities in
Srinagar. Due these efforts administration has acted and sent a team led by Tehsildar Khanyar to take stock of the temple properties at Rainawari besides Municipal Corporation Srinagar also has started the cleanliness drive and swung into action.
In their report the Core Group consisting of RKPAC and Jogishwari Mandir Trust members has documented that there is a concerted effort to encroach the ancient Gopi Tirath land by vested interests. Acting on the report the RKPAC and Trustees of the Jogishwari Mandir Trust has passed a resolution asking the land sharks and vested interests from within the community and outside to desist from any tress pass. It has also installed the official sign boards of the Jogishwari Mandir Trust in the Gopi Tirath, Nishat and other properties.
RKPAC resolved to reconstitute the Jogishwari Mandir Trust to catalyse its working in the community interest and safeguard the Jogishwari Trust. As such the previous body of the Trust was dissolved. The new trustees were nominated by RKPAC to reconstitute the Jogishwari Mandir Trust. As such a four member steering committee comprising of K J Bhat, Bennner Ji Hak, Rakesh Hangloo and Dr.Mahesh Kaul was constituted by the house at Sri Sri Chakreshwari Jagat Amba Sharika Sanastha, here to streamline the working of the Trust.
Consequent to this the Jogishwari Mandir Trust was reconstituted at ASKPC office , Durga Nagar Jammu and new office beavers and trustees were elected. These included Bennerji Hak, president, .Surinder Kumar Kaul, vice president, Sunil Chowdhdhary, treasurer, Dr.Mahesh Kaul, general secretary, Shiban Lal Kher, Suresh Tickoo, Bebooji Zutshi, Verender Dembi, Dr.Dileep Pandita, Satish Kissu, Rakesh Hangloo, B L Jalali, Krishen Ji Bhat, Kishore Mattoo.
