Johal starts work of waiting hall at Khanpur Cremation Ground

DDC Member, Sarabjit Singh Johal starting work at the waiting hall at Cremation Ground Khanpur, Ramgarh.

JAMMU, Jan 31: Sarabjit Singh Johal, Member of District Development Council (DDC) Ramgarh kick started the development work of the waiting hall at the Cremation Ground in Khanpur Camp in presence of prominent persons and locals of the area, here today.
The work will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 3.5 lakh.
In his address on the occasion, Sarabjit Singh Johal said that there was a dire need for a waiting hall at the Khanpur Cremation Ground and it had been pending for a long time. He said that with the commencement of the aforesaid work a long pending demand of the people of this village has been fulfilled today.
The DDC member expressed his profound gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP Government for continuously providing funds for the developmental works at Panchayat level. He said that steps are being taken continuously for the development of rural areas under the Modi led Government at the Centre which is making the requisite funds available for the Panchayats.
Later, Johal also interacted with the people of the area who informed him of their problems and issues.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Naib Sarpanch Jagdish Raj, Nancy Choudhary, Karan Singh, Panch Saudagar Mal, Panch Sajjan Singh, Panch Rajinder Kaur, Panch Karan Singh and other dignitaries of the village.
