JAMMU, Dec 27: A delegation of the leaders from J&K Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) and Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) called on Education Minister J&K, Sakina Masood Itoo, here today, and highlight critical issues concerning employees and the education sector.
The delegation included State President JKTF/NMOPS and Provincial President Jammu J&K EJAC M Ashraf Sheikh, UT Spokesperson J&K EJAC, Mir Bashir Ahmad, Additional General Secretary JKTF and NMOPS Nitin Kalyaan, and Provincial Joint Secretary JKTF. The leaders presented a comprehensive charter of demands, emphasizing the resolution of longstanding issues.
They demanded adjustment of newly promoted Masters and Headmasters, filling up of vacant posts of Headmasters, ZEOs, Lecturers, Principals, and CEOs, justified rationalization of teaching staff to address shortages in schools with high enrolment, regularization of left-out officials, implementation of Transfer Policy, expediting execution of ATD 2024, timely promotions in various grades, Cash-in-Leave benefits for teaching officials, restoration of Old Pension Scheme, etc.
Sakina Masood Itoo assured the delegation of immediate action on critical issues. She committed to issuing directions to the Director of School Education Jammu for posting orders of newly promoted Masters.
