SAMBA, May 29: Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, Nawang Rigzin Jora today inaugurated a newly constructed community hall at Ramgarh.
Mr. Jora said that the community hall will cater to the needs of the marginal section of the society who are unable to afford costly accommodation for holding religious and social functions. He said that it is endeavour of the Government to create such facilities across the State where people can arrange social as well as religious functions on very nominal rates.
Assuring better civic amenities in the area, the Minister called upon the people to protect the public assets for their own betterment.
The Minister said that the left out work on the community Hall would be completed at the earliest and for the purpose the balance amount would be provided soon.
The Minister stressed upon the need to plant more and more trees to maintain healthy and hygienic atmosphere in the surroundings.
Among others, Deputy Commissioner Samba, R.K. Varma, Director Urban Local Bodies, Kuldeep Lal Khajuria, SP Samba, Anil Mangotra besides senior officers from various departments were present during the inauguration of community hall.
