JPBM demands restoration of statehood with land and job guarantee in J&K

VIJAYPUR, Sept 3 : Jammu Province Bachao Manch (JPBM) today urged upon the Government of India to combat corruption, price hike, unprecedental tax imposition, drug abuse, crime, unrest among youth, farmers, workmen, professionals and small traders in Jammu and Kashmir.
The organisation today launches awareness campaign and demand restoration of statehood with land and job guarantee in Jammu & Kashmir.
Raising the issue of Permanent Residential Certificate, Ashok Sharma, Chairman of the Manch said that every citizen of J&K was feeling proud to have PRC as it was once identity and pride of the people and so the Government must restore the PRC system to the people of erstwhile State of Jammu & Kashmir.
Coming heavily on the Government for not removing Sarore and Ban Toll Plaza and smart meters beside levying the ‘Property tax’, Sharma said that people are already facing the brunt of soaring prices of commodities and at this juncture burdening the poor people is insane step so it should be rolled back immediately.
Referring to the inhabitants of LoC and IB, the JPBM chairman said that Government must provide them 5 marlas of residential plots to the safe places so that they may live their lives without fear psychosis. He exhorted that the ‘Trade & Commerce’ is being high jacked by the outsiders and the same should be retained with the original residents of J&K, ensuring the locals of job opportunities.
