JPPF celebrates foundation day of J&K

JAMMU, Mar 16: Jammu Province Peoples Forum (JPPF) celebrated foundation day of J&K State by organizing a programme at its office today.
A large number of people from different organizations participated in the event. While speaking on the occasion, Paviter Singh, said that since inception of the J&K State no one bothered to celebrate this historic day of importance and we are astonished to see that the public has almost forgotten that when and how this beautiful state came into existence.
He said that JPPF started celebrating this day since last five years and trying to bring awareness among the masses about the formation of J&K State. He demanded the Governor of J&K to immediately intervene to instruct the concerned to start teaching Dogra History in schools.
Members who were present in the meeting were, MS Katoch, Inderjit Khajuria, Avinash Bhatia, ML Sharma, Resham Singh, Rajiv Mahajan, Pritam Sharma, Balwan Singh, Pawan Sharma, Prof OP Sharma and many others.
