JPTTOF for framing policy to replace old taxies

JAMMU, Dec 3: Jammu Province Tourist Taxi Operators Federation (JPTTOF) has appealed the Government of J&K to come to the rescue of taxi operators by framing a handsome policy for replacement of old taxies with the new taxies.
“This will not only help in survival of taxi operators already hit by the adversaries prevalent for last three decades but will bring good name to the UT Government as taxi operators will be able to provide luxurious services to the tourists and pilgrims,” the said Inderjeet Sharma, chairman of the Federation while addressing a press conference, here today.
Sharma further requested the Government to completely abolish installation of Retrofitting Emission Control Devices in Commercial Diesel Driven old vehicles.
