JAMMU, Aug 4: The Jal Shakti Department (JSD) has assigned temporary charges to its Engineers besides ordering their posting in different wings.

As per an order, Engineers Mohammad Taj Chowdhary, Mohammad Hussain, and Tirath Ram, have been assigned the additional charge of Superintending Engineers (SEs).
Consequent upon assignment of the additional charge to the officers, the JSD has posted Mohammad Taj Chowdhary to the Hydraulic Circle Rajouri with additional charge of Hydraulic Circle Poonch relieving Bodh Raj, SE, PHE Mechanical Rural Circle, Rajouri Jammu, of the additional charge.
The Department has further posted Mohammad Hussain to the Ravi Tawi Construction Circle Jammu, RTIC Jammu against a vacant post, and Tirath Ram to Hydraulic Circle Anantnag with additional charge of Hydraulic Circle Pulwama/Shopian relieving Vivek Kohli, Chief Engineer, PHE Kashmir of the additional charge.
Meanwhile, the Jal Shakti Department has assigned the temporary charge of Incharge Executive Engineers (I/c Xens) to 7 Engineers.
Those who have been assigned the temporary charge are Engineers Varinder Singh, Khursheed Ahmad Dar, Sukhbir Singh, Sudhir Singh, Virender Singh, Vijay Kumar and Naresh Kumar.
Consequently, Varinder Singh has been posted as Technical Officer to the Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti (PHE) Jammu, Khursheed Ahmad Dar has been posted to JK WRRA Srinagar against available vacancy, Sukhbir Singh deputed to JKPDC, Sudhir Singh placed at the disposal of Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). His salary shall be drawn against the vacant post of Tech Advisor JJM Kashmir.
Further, Virender Singh has been posted to Flood Control Division Samba against an available vacancy, and services of Vijay Kumar have been placed at the disposal of Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). His salary shall be drawn against the vacant post of Tech Advisor, JJM Jammu.
Additionally, Naresh Kumar has been posted as Technical Officer to the Chief Engineer, RTIC Jammu vice Rajeev Gupta, who has been further deputed to JKPDC.
