JMMU, Nov 11: In a meeting of the deputation of BJP Kashmir Displaced District with the Joint Director, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Mansoor Aslam with regard to distribution of ration to migrants camps and none camps, the Joint Director has assured that there will be no compromise with the quality of ration to be supplied to displaced community.
The deputation was led by Chand Jee Bhat, President BJP KDD, who was accompanied by its General Secretary, PL Dhar, Secretary CL Pnadita, Secretary CL Koul and Member AK Sher.
The deputation apprised the Jt Director that the supply of ration to the displaced community be disbursed timely and of standard quality keeping in view complaints lodged by the migrants from time to time.
The deputation further requested the Joint Director the anomaly in distribution of ration amongst employees and pensioners should be removed as some are getting 5 kilograms per soul and some 2 kilograms.
Bhat pprised the Joint Director that the supply of ration for the months of September and October was not disbursed till date in the areas of Bohri, Shiv Nagar, Talab Tillo, Rehari Chungi and Gole Gujral, adding that one kg of sugar the employees category was receiving has also been stopped with reasons yet to be known.
The Joint Director after giving a patient hearing said that he will personally look into the matter and take the measures there upon.
