NAGROTA, Dec 13: Jandrah Tehsil Action Committee, (JTAC) -a   representative body of the residents who successfully launched a campaign for creation of administrative blocks recently today expelled Sarpanch Jandrah Anil Sharma alias Tony for joining Bharatiya Janata Party and thus betraying the trust of people.
The JTAC unanimously extended their support to National Conference candidate Devender Singh Rana while acknowledging his great support during their epic struggle for the demand of adminstraitive units.
“Anil Sharma has demonstrated worst kind of opportunism by joining hands with those who indulged in intrigues to sabotage the just cause of the people of Jandrah”, the prominent office bearers and the members of the committee said in a joint statement.
They added that the integrity of Mr Sharma had remained always under cloud for his dubious role during the mass movement which made the Government to accede to their justified demands. By crossing over the fence, he only proved his worth and wavering loyalty towards a cause that weaved people together in a unique movement in an unprecedented manner.

The signatories to the joint statement included Convener, Kishori Sharma, Ex Sarpandh Jandrah, Pritam Singh Sarpanch Dhan, Ragubir Singh Sarpanch Nagola, Saleem Mohammed, Naib Sarpanch Jandrah, Retired Headmaster Ranjeet Singh, Master Baldeve Singh, Choudhry Mohammad Fazi, Dr Abdul Gani, Laja Ram, Vijay Kumar, Master Chandhar Mohini Sharma, Mohan Lal Verma, Ex BDO, Haji Mohd Rafiq, Haji Mian Panch, Balram Singh, Rakesh Singh Jamwal, Dr Sunil Sharma, Kishori Sharma and others.
