JAMMU, June 10: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Nove Soan Kashmir Front has urged the Government to clear its stand on rehabilitation of Pandits in Valley and construction of separate colonies for them.
The president JTC and Soan Kashmir Front Shadi Lal Pandita said that Government has no guts to take on separatists and start work on separate colonies for settlement of Pandits in Valley. He said Pandits are original inhabitants of Valley and they should be settled as per their own will and not as per the dictates of militants.
He also demanded implementation of PM employment package in letter and spirit, one time settlement of over aged youth, restoration of RBA status to migrants belonging to RBA areas of Valley, reservation of three seats each in Assembly and Council, one seat each in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, compensation for left over and damaged properties, restoration of land of migrants and their religious places, passage of shrine bill and settlement of other demands at an earliest.
