JTC discusses demands

JAMMU, July 23: A joint meeting of office bearers and members of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front was held at Jagti camp today under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, president JTC.
The meeting, while expressing its concern over the sufferings of the migrants particularly from the day when they were shifted to Jagti from other camps, demanded that the problems of the camp inmates be immediately settled.
The meeting demanded leveling of playground in the camp, immediate completion of work on 40 bedded hospital, construction of shopping complex at Jagti, renovation of road from Kandoli Mata  temple to migrant camp, increasing matador and mini bus service in the area, proper maintenance of parks in the camp, setting up of a police post at the camp, providing of basic amenities of life to camp inmates and construction of three townships in erstwhile districts of Srinagar, Baramulla and Anantnag for the rehabilitation of Pandits in Valley.
