JTC for early settlement of migrants’ problems

JAMMU, Mar 13: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front was held here today under the Presidentship of Rajinder Dhar, president Youth Wing JTC. The meeting was attended by the office bearers and members of both the Associations.
While addressing the participants Rajinder Dhar appealed the Government for early fulfillment of the genuine demands of the Kashmiri Pandit migrant community by releasing the enhanced cash assistance relief in favour of the migrants with effect from the date of same has been recommended by the State Government.
Rattan Lal Bhat, senior vice president of JTC has appealed the Government to issue RBA certificates in favour of migrants belonging to RBA areas in Valley. Sunil Raina, convener JTC has appealed the Government for ensuring Police Recruitment rallies in Jagti Migrant Camp.
Mr. Dhar urged the Government of India to discourage the anti national policies and the militants need to be dealt with iron hands. Corruption prevailing in the State needs to be curbed and check on rising rates of the essential commodities kept.
Shadi Lal Pandita, President, JTC and P L Thusoo its chairman also addressed the meeting.
