Jammu, July 15: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front was held under the chairmanship of its president Shadi Lal Pandita, here today.
The members expressed grave concern over slackness of the State and the Centre Government in mitigating the sufferings of the residents with regard to paucity of water, power supply and allied things.
Mr Pandita said though huge amount has been incurred on Water Supply Scheme Jagti, yet it is not being regulated to this camp regularly, which leaves the inmates in the lurch, particularly in hot and humid conditions.
President JTC also expressed concern over power curtailments in the camp, which adds to the vows of the residents.
The meeting also appealed the Government for construction of residential blocks in the camp, which they said is the need of the hour.
