JTC for installation of CCTV in Jagti township

JAMMU, Nov 29: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) Jagti and Soan Kashmir Front  was jointly held at Jagti Nagrota under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, president JTC/SKF.
Pandita has demanded installation of CCTVs in the Jagti township since a large population of migrants is residing there and they are presently confronted to lot of sufferings due to movement of miscreants indulging in thefts and other illegal acts and such persons go scot free hence installation of CCTVs in the township has become necessary so that any miscreant indulging in any unlawful activity could be identified for booking under law.
An appeal has been made to the Director General of Police for enhancing the strength of Police personnel in Police Post Jagti as the present staff is not sufficient enough to meet the requirement to maintain law and order and to avoid any untoward happenings in this camp area.
Among others who were present in the meeting included Raj Kumar Tickoo, Sunil Koul, R.K. Raina, Kashi Nath Bhat, Raj Kumar Bhat, Mithan Pandita, Hari Krishan Pandita, S. L. Kar, Satesh Pandita, Chaman Lal, Sumit Pandita, Rishap Bhat, Rahul Tickoo, Naveen Ji and others.
