JTC, Nove Soan discuss problems of displaced people

JAMMU, Oct 27: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front held a joint meeting today in which various issues of displaced Pandits were highlighted.
As per a release, the meeting was chaired by B L Raina urged the Government to take immediate steps in solving the problems of the displaced people in general and youth in particular.
It demanded immediate enhancement of cash relief, implementation of second phase of PM’s employment package by providing jobs to 3000 KP youth as out of 6000 only 3000 posts have been advertised till date and sanction of one time assistance for the over aged youth so that they can set up their own business establishments.
The meeting which was also addressed by S L Pandita president of the JTC demanded immediate posting of Urdu teachers in migrant schools to educate the displaced students.
