JTC for more ration depots, development of stadium

JAMMU, Jan 10: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Shadi Lal Pandita to take stock of the problems being faced by the inmates at Jagti camp, here today.
The meeting stressed upon the administration to establish more ration depots in the camp for convenience of the people as it will pave way for quick delivery of the ration.
The members appealed the Director CAPD to ensure distribution of ration from 10th of every month, instead of 25th.
Mr Pandita also advocated for more matador service on the camp road as the existing services is not up to the mark.
He further said that the existing sports stadium in the camp for carrying out various sports activities is in dilapidated condition, adding that the work over it has been stopped to leave it incomplete and appealed the authorities to execute the work on war footing basis for the welfare of the sportspersons of the community.
Prominent among others present in the meeting were S N Gurtoo, P L Thusoo, Rattan Lal Bhat, Rajinder Dhar, Sunil Raina, Sanjay Pandita, Vijay Pandita, M L Akhoon, M L Pandita, R L Bhan and Sham Lal Tickoo.
