JAMMU, Dec 24: A protest was held by the Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) at Jagti township Nagrota which was led by its president Shadi Lal Pandita.
Addressing the protesters, Pandita said that militants are killing soldiers and civilians in Jammu and Kashmir which is very serious issue. The meeting prayed for the peace of souls of soldiers martyred in Rajouri -Poonch recently.
Pandita said that recently about 150 Parliament members of the opposition have been suspended from the membership which is also condemnable and that day will be considered as a black day and an abominable day for India democracy.
Pandita said that for the ten years Hindu, Muslims , Kashmiri Pandits, laborers and people of different States of India who were working in Kashmir valley have been killed by the militants due to which the people of Jammu and Kashmir feel scared.
Pandita said unemployment is increasing continuously for ten years, the poor are becoming poorer, inflation is increasing while corruption and terrorism is increasing in J&K.
He said that the BJP had said in its manifesto during 2014 elections that if it comes to power it will solve all the issues of Kashmiri Pandits and resettle them in Kashmir valley but it failed to solve any problem of the displaced people, he added.
