JAMMU, Aug 6: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) held a protest and condemned the incidents of Kousarnag yatra and Mata Kheer Bhawani.
The workers of JTC and SKF under the presidentship of Shadi Lal Pandita raised slogans against the Government.
Addressing the protesters, Pandita drew attention towards the recent incident of Kousarnag yatra wherein the kashmiri pandits and tourists were not allowed to perform the pilgrimage.
He said that it is not personal property of anyone, adding that every human being can perform the yatra. Pandita cautioned the Government and anti national elements not to give it political shape.
He also condemned the attack on famous temple of Mata Kheer Bhawani at Tulmulla in Ganderbal district.
Pandita said that at Kashmiri pandits are being harassed by the NC led Government by imposing long duration power cuts in Jagti Township, which creates manifold problems for students and old age persons.
Among others present were Rajinder Dhar, Sunil Raina, Sanjay Bhatt, Sanjay Pandita, Ramesh Bhat, Mithan Pandita, GL Bhat, SN Gurtoo, ML Pandita, etc.
