JTC, SKF continue dharna

JAMMU, Apr 22: A protest dharna was held by the Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) at Jagti  township Nagrota here, today.
Addressing  the protesters Shadi Lal Pandita president of JTC and SKF said that the activists of the two organisations have been protesting for 539 days but the Government was deliberately not meeting our demands. Pandita said that  the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is visiting Jammu on April 24
and we want to convey the message to Modiji that the JTC and SKF have been on protest dharna for 539 days and are demanding enhancement of cash relief from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 for per family per month.
Pandita demanded that Kashmiri Pandits be resettled in Kashmir Valley who have been living in exile for 33 years.
he expressed the hope that PM will make an announcement regarding settlement of some burning issues of displaced Pandits.
