JTC, SKF continue protest

JAMMU, Jan 17: Continuing its protest the Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) held a demonstration in Jagti township to get the demands of displaced Pandits solved.
The JTC and SKF has appealed to the displaced people of Jagti township to come to Jagti Lane No. 7 on January 19 at dharna place to observe the Black Day
as on this day in 1990 Kashmiri Pandits were forced to leave Valley which is their mother land. January 19 is the day of exile, the day of killings and the day of oppression of Kashmiri Pandits by the Kashmiri and Pakistani militants. The JTC and SKF will also protest against the State and Centre Government on this day and observe a Black Day by wearing the black flags which has not been able to give us justice even after 31 years.
Addressing the protesters Shadi Lal Pandita, president JTC and Soan Kashmir Front J&K said today is the 108th day of the protest but till date the Government has not met our demands. He said,” Our protest will continue until our demands are met’’.
He demanded early settlement of all the pending demands.
