JAMMU, Jan 2: The Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC), Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) organized a seminar which was followed by protest, under the chairmanship of its president and convener of PCC Migrant Cell J&K, Shadi Lal Pandita.
The seminar was attended by activists of three organisations .In the seminar leaders and members of JTC and SKF were honored by Pandita who had continuously participated in the protest sit-in- since October 10, 2020 to get the demands met.
Addressing the members, Pandita said that the JTC and SKF have been on protest sit-in for 457 days for their demands but the Government is giving maltreatment to Kashmiri Pandits. He said all Kashmiri Pandits need to come together and fight for their rights. He said “We have been forced to live in exile for 32 years while we have land and other properties in Kashmir which has been snatched from us due to militancy and Government has failed in last 32 years to ensure our honourable and dignified rehabilitation in Valley”.
Pandita said that the promises made by BJP before coming to power with the community were not met.
He reiterated the demands and urged the Government to settle them without any delay.
