JTC , SKF demand new water supply scheme for Jagti

JAMMU, July 23: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front J&K was held under the leadership of its president, Shadi Lal Pandita at Jagti township near here, today.
Addressing the members Pandita appealed the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner to ensure daily supply of clean drinking water in Jagti township. The water supply scheme, constructed for Jagti township, has failed due to which migrants are facing drinking water scarcity. Therefore, a new water supply scheme should be constructed for Jagti township so that problem is solved. Raj Kumar Tickoo unit president and convenor demanded allotment of two ambulances in Jagti Township. Sunil Koul demanded construction of culvert on nallah near Cremation Ghat.
The meeting appealed to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner to deploy a team of officers for Jagti township for issuance of domicile certificates to inmates putting up there. Kashi Nath Bhat vice president of JTC and SKF, said that the State Subject of many migrants are not yet formed which should be made.
