JAMMU, May 30: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) in a joint meeting held under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita co-convener PCC Migrant Cell demanded enhancement of relief for Kashmiri migrants in view of sky rocketing prices of essential commodities.
The meeting also demanded creation of more 10,000 posts in the State Government for displaced people and filling of the remaining posts of PM package announced way back in 2008 for Kashmiri migrants.
It further demanded that Kashmiri Pandits be given jobs in Central Government departments and public sector undertakings, besides the steps be taken for the one place settlement of the community in Valley.
