JAMMU, Nov 1: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) which was held here, today under the chairmanship of Sdhadi Lal Pandita discussed the problems of Jagti township inmates as well as other displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
Addressing the meeting, Shadi Lal Pandita wanted to know why the PM package announced in 2008 has not been implemented in last over 10 years. He said out of 6000 posts 3000 are yet to be filled up by the Government.
He also demanded announcement of 1000 class fourth posts for those migrant youth who could not continue their studies and deserving migrant youth be recruited in CISF and other para military forces by Government of India besides more 10000 posts be announced for the educated unemployed migrant youth.
Pandita said that Government has failed to provide accommodations to the Valley posted migrant employees and its announcement of constructing 6000 more flats has proved hollow. He alleged that the return and rehabilitation policy of the Government has been marred by the conspiracy of vested political interests in the Valley.
