JTC, SKF hold meeting

JAMMU, Apr 28: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K was held under the chairmanship of its president, Shadi Lal Pandita at Jagti township Nagrota here, today. Addressing the members Pandita said that this year Mela Kheer Bhawani Tullamula Ganderbal is falling on May 28.
Pandita said this year thousands of people will travel from Jammu to Kheer Bhawani, Kashmir on May 27. He said that the Pooja Hawan Arti will be held at Kheer Bhawani Tullamula Ganderbal on May 28 and the yatries will return on May 29 from Tullamula Ganderbal to Jammu.
Pandita said that thousands of Kashmiri Pandits are going to Kheer Bhawani Tullamula from Jammu migrant camps and non migrant camps on May 27 for which free 70 SRTC buses should be provided as per past practice so that migrants can have darshan of Mata Kheer Bhawani.
Pandita said that about 30 private buses which are going from Jammu to Kheer Bhawani Tullamula and other religious places of Kashmir Valley on May 25 and return to Jammu on June 5 on their own expenses for which the Government should provide route permission and also security to Yatris as per past practice.
Pandita said after the migration of Kashmiri Pandits since 1994 the Nove Soan Kashmir Front has started the Kheer Bhawani yatra from Jammu and other parts of India which is becoming a symbol of brotherhood and peace.
