JAMMU, Aug 24: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K held protest outside Press Club here today to project their demands.
Amid slogans, the members of JTC and SKF J&K assembled outside Press Club here and held protest demanding early redressal to their demands.
Addressing the protestors, Shadi Lal Pandita President JTC and SKF said that they are protesting from the past 326 days and no one from the Government is paying heed towards their demands. He urged the Government to redress the genuine demands as soon as possible.
He demanded immediate enhancement of cash relief to Rs 25,000 per family besides settlement of other demands including a job package of 20,000 new jobs with 5000 class fourth posts, release of compensation for damaged properties over the turmoil period, loans to over aged youth of the community and rehabilitation of community in three satellite townships in Valley.
