JTC, SKF protest enters 152th day

JAMMU, Mar 2: The Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) continued its protest sit-in for 152th day at Jagti township today. Addressing the protesters, president JTC and SKF Shadi Lal Pandita said that today we have been protesting for five months and two days while the UT and Central Government is ignoring Kashmiri displaced Pandits totally.
Pandita demanded that the monthly cash relief should be increased from Rs13, 000 to Rs 25,000 immediately and community should be resettled in three townships in Kashmir Valley.
Raj Kumar Tickoo unit president, JTC and convener, SKF said that a Government job should be given to those families which have no serving Government employee and a fresh package of 20,000 jobs be also announced soon besides settling of other important issues of the community.
