JTC, Soan Kashmir highlight problems of Jagti inmates

JAMMU, Nov 15: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front was held here today under the presidentship of Shadi Lal Pandita in which various demands of the inmates of Jagti township were discussed.
Addressing the meeting Mr Pandita has expressed grave concern over the suffering of 20,000 souls putting up at Jagti township due to lack of basic facilities.
The meeting expressed resentment over lack of transport facilities and demanded plying of five SRTC buses in the township. Lambasting Government for 14 hour power cut, it demanded improving the power supply, allotment of separate quarters to large families putting up at Jagti in one TRT, allotment of quarters to left out families, enhancement of cash relief to Rs 15,000, allotment of ambulances and medicines to Jagti hospital, completion of pending work of Sports Stadium and issuance of RBA certificates.
