JTC’s concern over 12 hour power cut in Jagti

JAMMU, Aug 19: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) in its meeting at Jagti camp today held under the leadership of Shadi Lal Pandita accused the present State Government of its total failure in resolving the problems of the displaced Pandits.
The meeting said it is unfortunate that the Jagti camp was facing over 12 hour power cut daily and the present Government was totally unconcerned for the same.
The meeting said that the Jagti camp inmates were also suffering due to lack of essential commodities and the Omar Abdullah Government has no intension of resettling the migrants in Valley. The meeting also alleged that the Government failed to protect the religious places of Hindus in Valley.
Pandita said it is unfortunate that during the festival days there was no power supply in the camp and this shows the total callousness of the Government towards the camp inmates.
Girdhari Lal Bhat, Rajinder Dhar, Sunil Raina, Sanjay Pandita, Vijay Pandita and others attended the meeting.
