JTC’s concern over non supply of ration to migrants

JAMMU, Apr 1: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front was held at Jagti township today under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita.
The meeting expressed grave concern over slackness of the authorities in ensuring ration to the migrant relief holders for the month of March though the month has also come to an end.
It said the relief holders are facing hardships due to non supply of ration. Pandita while speaking asked Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Jammu to personnaly look into the matter and ensure timely supply of ration. He also demanded that new ration books be issued to migrants as old books have since exhausted.
He demanded enhancement of relief, issuance of RBA certificates and implementation of PM’s employment package etc.
