JTC’s concern over prevailing power crisis in Jagti

JAMMU, Feb 20: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) in its meeting held in the Jagti township today expressed grave concern over the failure of the Government to solve the power crisis facing the inmates of Jagti.
The meeting which was chaired by Shadi Lal Pandita president of the Committee and addressed among others by B L Raina said that there was a dispute over the power bills between the Relief organization and PDD while the inmates of the Jagti township have been made to suffer unnecessarily.
The meeting said by shifting the migrants from erstwhile camps to Jagti their status have not changed over night. The power tariff of migrants was paid by relief organization in erstwhile camps in past and same should continue. The meeting demanded that migrants should be given the all benefits as refugees till their proper rehabilitation at a single place in Kashmir valley.
