JAMMU, Apr 4: Jammu University, which has been ranked 51 among top 100 universities of the country, has secured a place among first 100 Institutions under Management category.
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, had yesterday released the list of top Universities of the country in which JU secured 51st place, thereby improving its rank by 12 places from the previous year ranking under National Institutional Ranking Framework, introduced by the MHRD.
Further, University of Jammu has secured a place in the band of 76-100 institutions under the category of Management.
A total number of 716 Institutions/Universities had applied under the Management Category and University of Jammu submitted data with respect to The Business School, School of Hospitality & Tourism and International Centre for Cross-Cultural Research and Human Resource Management for being assessed under the Management Category.
Pertinent to mention that University of Jammu has been accredited as A+ University by NAAC for the five year period 2016-2021 and also declared as one of the 12 Category 1 State Universities of the country by UGC.
