JAMMU, Feb 10: Jammu University today nominated Prof Deepak Raj Gupta and Dr Vinay Chauhan as Director of JU School of Hospitality & Tourism Management and The Business School, respectively.
Separate orders in this regard were issued today by JU Registrar Prof Arvind Jasrotia.
According to another order, Prof Yash Pal Sharma from the Department of Botany has been nominated as Rector, Udhampur Campus, in addition to his existing duties.
Further, Prof Anju Bhasin from the Department of Physics has been nominated to act as CEO, University of Jammu Special Purpose Vehicle Foundation and Director, University Business Incubation and Innovation Centre (UBIIC).
Interestingly, four out of these five positions had fallen vacant following the deputation of Prof Parikshit Singh Manhas, who has been appointed as Chairman of J&K Board of School Education.
