JU Business School ranks among top B-Schools

JAMMU, Nov 9:  In the latest survey conducted by  “The Week-Hansa Research Survey 2017”,  The Business School, University of Jammu has been  ranked fifth among the Best Government B-Schools in the North Zone and 21st across India, placing TBS in the same league as the other prestigious institutions of the country including IIMs, IITs, FMS, IIFT etc. The same survey also places TBS at the 2nd rank among University Business Schools.
In addition to this achievement, the JU Business School appears at the 9th position in the country in terms of ‘Return on Investment’ and 29th rank across India among Government institutions in a recent B- schools ranking conducted by MDRA (Marketing & Development Research Associates).
The India Today Group’s latest study on the Best Business Schools in the country was conducted by MDRA which is a leading market research firm. The institutes have been ranked based on objective data which was submitted by them in the form of a long and exhaustive questionnaire. More than 1,800 B-schools were requested to take part in the study and 277 institutes including both private and Government institutes submitted their data within the deadline. The ranking parameters included: Living Experience, Learning Experience, Selection Process, Placement Performance, Return on Investment and Future Orientation. The B-schools were evaluated on the basis of current year’s data.
This is not for the first time that TBS has been acknowledged and ranked among the top B-schools in the country; The Business School received ‘A’ category rank in AIMA Best B-School Survey conducted in the year 2009. TBS has also been ranked as A+ category B-School in Business India Survey in the year 2009 and has received DEWANG MEHTA ‘Excellence in Education’ Award in 2009 and also in the year 2012 in recognition of its leadership, innovation and industry interface. According to the Business India in the year 2016, TBS was rated A++ in 18th Annual Ranking of Indian B- Schools.
