JAMMU, Aug 2: In order to provide access to quality online resources and best practices to use them, The Law School, University of Jammu (JU) organized one-day training programme for the students and faculty on the theme “Salient features of Manupatra- A legal database”.
This programme was a part of series of initiatives taken by Director of The Law School, Professor Manju Jamwal to enhance the research output of the department. The training was imparted by Sanjay Sharma, Manager Sales of Manupatra Information Solution Private Limited, who was the main speaker of the programme.
Sharma in a very detailed manner apprised the students and faculty about the main content and coverage of the legal database along with its various important features. Earlier, Dr Tarseem Singh introduced the main speaker to the audience and spoke on the theme of the session.
The training programme was attended by a large numbers of students from different semesters along with their faculty members.
